can i change a 4.7 engine to a 5.9 in 01 dodge durango

I have a 01 durango with a 4.7 engine. I want to replace it with a 5.9. Is this possible?

it is possible, but you would also have to change the transmission, computer, and wiring.

it can be done,if you have the truck with the cummins 5.9 with you,that way when you pull it you can see were the wiring harness for the ecm goe's to and from,your best bet is to find a earlier model that is not computer controlled parts are cheaper and better to work on
