Some dumbass is gonna get on here n say u should never remove the battery and blah blah ull fry ur computer and blah blah lol
Don't ever do what you are doing. Disconnecting the battery on a running vehicle is a redneck alternator test that can damage all sorts of things. First, ignore what the idiot posted above, second, check all battery and alternator cables and wires ,third, check the large fuses and the big wire that goes to the alternator (it should be hot with 12 volts all the time) and finally, have the alternator tested and make sure it is the correct on for your vehicle.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I replaced the alternator with the correct one (refurbished from AutoZone) And also a brand new battery. Someone said it could possibly be a fuse, but would it be under the hood or inside? Also, are there fusible wires that connect the alternator to the vehicle?
Bob ur a fkcn idiot XD
