So my wheel studs Broke and I'm trying to replace them
but my wheel hub won't turn do I have to put in drive or
something, I try to turn it but it won't spin freely

if your studs broke some are press in some are screw in make sure the car is secured so it cant roll and put it in neutral as in gear the transmissions stopping it from spinning.
