Squealing noise from my 92 Dodge Dakota. When I sprayed wd40 on the pulleys the noise went away then I sat it for a little while

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I be replaced the serpentine
belt and the idler pulley. I still
hear the squealing after I hit
about 1500Rpms.  Could I spray
like wd40  on the pulleys while
reving it to determine which
pulley is squealing?

There is more than one idler? If you get oil on the belt you should replace it.

If you get your hands down there with the engine running you are going to lose something valuable!
