does the toyota yaris -T3D4D have a timing belt or chain and what is the interval ?

Yes and your owners manual will tell you when to change it. I recommend changing it every 80,000 miles along with cam and crank seals, tensioner and idler pulley for the timing belt. It's better to change it all at one time than each time something goes out.
