One of two things, the rebuilder did a crappie job or your tramission cooler my be clogged. You can try to hook up an externa transmission cooler, are you sure the fans are coming on and are blowing enough air across the radiator?

if you are free I can call you and explain everything to you that's the only time it says its hot is going up the mountain, but it also revs the RPMs if I hit the gas to hard also
Sorry I don't take calls, if it was just rebuilt , I hope you got a warranty with it take it back to the shop. Also did you check the fluid level
