calipers are rebuilt, sounds like the piston inside caliper is sticking,it will need replaceing.
Thats what I suspect,I will not have a chance to have a look at it till tomorrow.Cheers...George
annoying thing is I got new calipers and pads and fitted them myself in March,Thats only 9 months ago. Bit Dissapointing.
your best fix is to change them both and if it has rubber brake lines change those to
i sugest to open the bleeder valves on the rear calipers one it a time look for good brake fluid pressure
Thanks People!!! I'll hopefully be able to use the works Inspection Pit tonight to see what has happened!! Regardless what it is,....It'll no doubt be costly!!
Caliper Piston seems to be ok,Believe it or not the Caliper has thrown A Pad out So My car os off the road now,Disc saveable, My Car does a Lot of stop/start drivig and s automatic butI didnt expect to see this after fiting "New" Calipers and Pads only back in March. The Inside Pad has been htrown,The inside Pad at the rear has ben thrown,The otherside i wearing to,But the outer ones(visible from through the alloy )seems to hve more life left inn it. I will have to enquire about Pads tomorrow,Is there or does anybody know of n Upgrade Brake Kit for 1999 3.8V6 models?
