2003 safari had crank no start. replaced f pump distrib, rotor, cap, plugs wires, coil, now it starts but odometer out. What the...?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The worst kinda break down , crank but no start led to a process of
elimination . replaced f pump, distrib, coil, cap, rotor, sp plugs, wires.
starts now but the odometer stopped working....what the? Checked fuses and
relay, ok. where do i look next?

Ecm? is that under dash? Why does the fuse blow? Is it related to the repair that preceded it? How so? Thank you for your interest.
