How do I determine cause for and repair of non-working radio?

All of sudden the radio speakers in my 2005 Honda Accord made a loud popping noise
and went silent. I turned the radio off for a while and when I turned it back on, it worked for
a time. Then another loud POP and silence; now it doesn't work at all. Could this be a fuse
problem? Any suggestions regarding cause and/or repair?
