to much oil show on dip stick

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Van has been starting and running. Died on me going to work, seemed like
gas problem.
Had van checked for fuel pump. mechanic said not the problem. So he
cleaned the injectors. Van ran fine.
I checked the oil about a week later was low a quart. I added oil.
Van died today with same symptoms, like getting no gas. I let the van sit a
few minutes started up like before ran fine to work. Started right up after
work made it home.
About am hour later went to start the van, will  not start. Like getting no gas.
Checked oil , dip stick showed a bit over full. But van has been running great
for about 3 to 4 weeks.
Wondering if to much oil made van stop running and now not start.
No check engine light has come on.

Ok well, now to much fluid in oil with a possible leak. Will cause van to stall and now not start? Also no check engine light? Can not be diagnosed with a computer. Is that true?
