Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car turns over, but it doesnt always start. I've already had the transponder in the key replaced. Im guessing its
a security issue or a fuel issue. Has anyone heard of or experienced this?

i have a 2001 accord which was having the transmition recall on them a few years back. my brother had the same car as me at the time. i have not had any starting issues but i would look into that transmition checked because it was the 1998-02 accords

Sounds like the fuel pump relay or fuel pump. Listen for your fuel pump when you turn the key to "II". Your starter cables or starter motor could also be bad.

If your oil level isn't where it should be on dip stick ..hondas have a safety device that if your car doesn't have enough oil then will not start....so...check your oil
