My honda accord 2009 won't start sometimes & almost dies while running. It will just flicker like the lights are about to go but don't.

Felicia, it sounds like your alternator is failing big-time, so have it checked. It could also be a battery that has outlived it's useful life too, so you should go to an autozone or similar type store and have the battery load tested first. I just had a very similar problem with my wife's 2000 Accord. Her problem turned out to be the alternator, but since the battery was 7+ yrs old, I put a brand new one in as well. Parts prices for both should be in the area of $400 to 500, depending on your area and stores. Labor I couldn't even guess at as I have been doing my own repairs for 45 years. Please let me know if you locate and fix your problem.
