well I have noticed a red light on the dashboard of my automobile for a while now something to do with oil I think, I just do not understand why my automobile has done this its never let me down in the 6 months I have had it :(

what do you mean is this for real this was an emergency and I really needed to get home and now I am trying to get my automobile running again.

You blew your engine by ignoring the red light on the dashboard! They are called "Idiot Lights" made for people who don't regularly maintain their vehicles like they should.

Red means STOP or DANGER in any country on the planet! So after this reply from you, you still don't know why I asked if this post is for real?

This post was for real who do you think I am some sort of idiot or something, after 3 days of hell and $1400 bucks my local shop got my automobile back on highway, they told me the motor had seized or something and they have had to completely replace the power and transmission unit I would appreciate more help next time my automobile and me are in trouble

I won't even answer the question you asked in the first line of your last reply, because by now you should know the answer to that based on all the above posts. In the future, I suggest that you learn just a little bit abut a car before you just get in and drive it and do nothing but put gas in it and go. Don't ignore the idiot lights! They are there for a reason, which is to tell you something is wrong with it. Next time you "really need help" try to explain your problem in exact and simple terms or words so that your questions don't sound like a joke or some smart ass playing games! This is a great site for anyone that needs help and there is no shortage of help for just about everyone.
