Why is my 2010 chevy Malibu making this  
low roaring noise and how can it be
repaired?

If you are driving the car and it makes the noise, could be a wheel bearing. If you hear the noise also when just idling then a possible exhaust leak, or maybe you are hearing the fans working on the radiator.
