Did you inspect your brakes?

I had a frnd check bc I don't have much money to get diagnosed...and I'm a woman and ppl tend to take advantage of that. But he said brakes r good.

Brakes or wheel bearing, you should let a pro look at it, either of those can be major safety issues if left unattended.

Your friend maybe just looking at the outside pad if they take caliper inside pad maybe grinding.

i had the same problem and had to take off the caliper and rotor to find only the inside of rotor was ground completely down and inner brake shoe was melted to the rotor. from outside inspection only you can not tell. remove tire and caliper or just take a close look at inside of rotors on both sides.
