Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so the check engine light stays on and every time I get
gas, it’ll crank but won’t start but runs fine while driving.
What could be wrong?

If it fails to start after getting gas it sounds like the fuel vapor purge valve is stuck open allowing fuel vapor to get into the engine from the fuel tank. This will flood the engine preventing it from starting. Is your check engine light on? If so, what are the trouble code(s)?
