Asked by Leo Dec 28, 2020 at 12:41 AM about the 2010 Subaru Forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 09 Forester at 113K miles has a traction light
and the AT OIL temp lights flashing couple of times
when I come to a stop at a stop sign or a red light
and the car unusually vibrates during this. I called
my mechanic I am going to drop it off for scanning
tomorrow but reading this red hair looks like
Subaru owners had or having this problem. Anyone
can help . I will drop of to the mechanic but at this
time of the year everyone Took holiday..

Probably intermittent duty solenoid in the CVT's valve body. $700 for part and 2 hours to swap.
