I bought a 97 Taurus and there is a red LED type light which is located on the dash just a few inches from the headlight switch. And it stays illuminated all the time. Any idea what it is?

are you deterred?....no function? really...in the ACC position or only the ON position?...all postitions...in fact a parasitic drain...cut that one out if it does nothing except give you a dead battery~

Hello, I have a 2006 Ford taurus SEL 3.0. Thew check charging system indicator comes on. The red battery light comes on after about 15 seconds after startup. If the battery is strong it does not come on but after a few starts the battery weakens and the light and warning come on. I have replaced the battery connections and the Mega fuse.Checked fuse #26.It is good and the auto parts store says the alternator is pumping out 14 volts. I'm stumped 9 Answers

the idle on my 2003 ford tauras ses is all messed up. Replaced the iac and some sensor. And the alternater. It's better, but it stalls out when I'm at a red light. Gotta put it in neutral and rev the gas to prevent this. Stressfull driving. Won't pass inspection in January. Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated. 1 Answer
