Asked by Rosie Oct 04, 2015 at 08:02 PM about the 2010 Volkswagen Eos

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Checked the drivers side fuse box for blown fuse (42/20amp-Yellow Fuse)
Any other suggestions? Could it be something more serious? Do I have to use
VW only car chargers?
Thanks

check for stuff lodged in your sockets. Also most new cars the sockets turn off with the ignition so that you don't accidentally waste your battery after shutting the car off by leaving something plugged in. is your igniton excesivly loose at all?

Thanks I will check the sockets. I'm not sure if the ignition is excessively loose. How would I find out? Does that affect the electrical or the fuse issue?

it can sometimes in the older modals. the best way to see if the ignition is loose is when the key is in it shifts all over the place. Also it would be at times hard to turn the car over as if the steering lock is holding it back. But most often it would be a fuse issue.
