2011 Kia Sorento black box in the undercarriage

I was driving on the highway and ran over a
shredded tire...it broke off a black box under my
car. I had to zip tie the box and a tube (I think it is)
that goes from the box to the fuel tank broke off
from the box. Does anyone know 1. What this box
is  2. If it's expensive to fix 3. Can I fix it my self
