2005 infiniti G35 check engine light, VDC, slip light all on

Asked by BakedJake Mar 27, 2019 at 09:09 PM about the 2005 INFINITI G35

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light on, VDC off light, slip light all
are on. And the car takes awhile to start over. All
happened out of nowhere. Checked the
diagnostics and said it was my Camshaft position
sensor A bank. So I replaced that and my break
pads and break calibers. After all that, all those
lights still exist and my car still takes awhile to
start over. Car runs great though and drives better
then it ever has. Please help I'm so baffled at what
could the problem be. I even took the negative off
my battery and cleaned it out. Car still took about 3
seconds to start over, but no lights, so I took her
for a rip and when I turned it off then on again all
the lights back on and still starts over after awhile.

I had the same problem with my 03 g35, for me the solution was to take the battery out, take the plastic piece that holds the battery out and under there was a bundle of wires that were all worn out and frayed. This caused all my lights to come on even though sometimes it would start with no lights but with mine it would send my car into limp mode (couldn't go over 5 mph) I would recommend checking there
