G35 VDC and SLIP lights stuck on. And check engine light for MAF sensor

Asked by Jon Jul 08, 2019 at 12:38 AM about the 2004 INFINITI G35

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced everything from the filter box to the
intake. Including the MAF sensor. Still
throwing a code and my car died in traffic
coming to a stop, also hesitates when
starting. also my VDC and SLIP lights are on.
Any advice or common problems?

Car dies in traffic is a sign of fuel pump relay. Easy fix relay is on fuse panel most likely. Google it and change it out. If it hesitates from a stop I would still focus on the relay and if problem continues filter first focus before possible changing pump. I'm curious why you would not clean the MAF sensor with MAF cleaner first?

I will try the relay tomorrow. Could that be why it has hesitation starting? Any clue why it’s still throwing a MAF code? Could it be the clip on the sensor? And I tried cleaning my old one and new one
