RAV4 Trac off 4WD and check engine light on

Asked by Pjsguru Feb 03, 2019 at 05:21 PM about the 2011 Toyota RAV4

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My mechanic says it is the ABS sensors that
are near the tires. One in each front wheel.
After he cleared the O2 sensor error, it shows
up. I’m gonna try it.  $150 fix

2012 Toyota RAV4 The Trac Off, Check Engine, and 4WD lites on the dash are on and won't turn off. Dang, I hate when that happens. THE FIX Look for the computer under the hood. Loosen the lever on the top plug and wiggle it out a little bit and push it back in place and snap the lever back down. Do the same with the lower plug. Walla, easypeasy. Send your $150 to me, I'm poor,

While the unplugging and replugging worked for me a bit, the lights came back on. In watching youtube, it seems to be a coil issue
