2009 Jetta Sportwagen Power Window Control, Driver's Side

Asked by helenri Nov 18, 2013 at 06:56 PM about the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left the window open on the driver's side and the power window control got wet. The
control was definitely not soaked, but wet. Now the control doesn't work at all. Also, the
lights on the control for the two rear windows are not working. Could this be a fuse, or am I
looking at a bigger problem? Thanks in advance. I've had the car for less than one month
and have had too many problems!

I have done that myself... sooner or later it will happen. I did not have any issues with the controls so I would say you have a bad seal. We had zero problems with our Jetta SW but it was a newer model.
