Key Fob Won't Work After Car Accident

Asked by Guru9TH2XF Mar 23, 2021 at 10:23 AM about the 2012 Volkswagen Jetta

Question type: General

I had a car accident and was hit on the passenger side door.  After it was fixed,
my new key fob will not work (lock doors, unlock doors, or open the trunk). I
had a mechanic look at it and couldn't figure it out.  Any suggestions?

Have a VW dealer service department diagnostic it. It's most likely related to the BCM or Body Control Module.
