2012 Volkswagen routan is it a transmission problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2012 VW Routan. It won't shift out of first RPMs keep going up as speed
increases.  The local oil change place who does not replace transmissions said
it needs one but I am having doubts.  They did flush the fluids to see if that
would help but no luck.

Have a transmission shop check it over, it could be just a bad shift solenoid or even a wiring issue.
