Shaking while braking
Car body and steering wheel begins to
shake during braking. Stops like it has oval
wheels in a sense. Recently replaced front
brakes
Did you overtighten the lug nuts? They should be torqued to the proper spec usually listed in the owner's manual. This torque value probably is between 80 to 100 ft lbs. Lug nuts should be installed dry with no lubricant or anti-seize and torqued to spec with a hand torque wrench. Getting them too tight can warp the brake rotors requiring them to be replaced.
