Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I'm in the mounttain away from civilisation. DPF light came on yesterday
morning. Drove for 30mins and turned off the car. Came back to it in the
afternoon and the DPF light was flashing, drove for 30mins  and turned the car
off. Today, drove 10 mjns in the morning with DPF light still flashing. Today in
the afternoon , check engine light came on solid with cruise control light
flashing and traction control light on.
Can I drive next 5 hours to came home safe? My car service is 5 hours driving

You drive a diesel? I would not drive it 5 hours without having the filter cleaned first.

Find someone locally with a scanner to read the codes. The diesel is NOT certified, hence not sold, in North America, so we have no further advice. Sorry. Ern TSG/B

Running any other diesel available in the US with a plugged up DPF would probably cost you a new motor.
