Question type: Maintenance & Repair

within 1 year of ownership noticed excessive oil use and was told over and over that it was within Sube specs to add 1 quart every 1000 miles, which made no sense for a new car as this as my 5th new car but 1st new Sube. Tanks to internet i was able to prove I was not the only one. After repeated oil consumption tests and my bringing internet reports to them they have approved an engine replacement.
1. Has any one done this engine replacement?
2. Have you encountered any more problems as a result
3. anyone succesful in just getting a new car under the warranty?
