Tank is only 11.4, I would drain out as much as you can get out then refill.

Pull the tank, drain. Syphoning will not work as it has a stop plate that will keep a hose from getting all the way to the bottom. If you do decide to fill the rest way up with gas then if it does run continue to refill it before it get to low to continue to dilute it.

I would try siphoning, it may not work though. If you can get 5 or 6 gallons out of the tank then refill it with gasoline and it might run okay.
