2013 Chevrolet Traverse HELP

Asked by Melanie Dec 29, 2015 at 02:25 PM about the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

For some reason every time I turn the wheel my car is making this loud
squealing sound. Now when i rev the engine to take off from a stopped
position it is now making the sound. I was thinking let the car warm up longer
and it would stop but that is not the case, the squealing is getting louder and
very annoying. Can anyone tell me what this could be?

Check the condition and tension of the serpentine belt that drives the power steering pump and check that the pump has sufficient fluid in its reservoir.

Thank you so much. Had my husband check the fluid level in the reservoir last night and he said it was extremely low. Filled it up and this morning no noise!!!!!!!!!!!
