Brake/rotor wear

2013 Soul, 53,000 miles. Front brake pads still
have 4-5mm left, calipers etc..aok. I've not had
pads last this long but the rotors are showing signs
of wear by a lip being formed on them. Is this
normal? P.S. I have a very light brake foot.
