Brake bleed
2013 kia soul 6 speed manual. I had the clutch changed.
Everything put back together. I had to remove the calipers,
and rotor to slide the axle in and out.
Crank the car for the first time and it cranks up fine. I don't
have any pressure in the clutch or the brakes. No problem, I
need to bleed them.
I gravity bled it, I vacuum Bled it. I bench bled the master
cylinder in hopes to get all the air. I followed all the
instructions to a tee. I still have no Clutch and Brake.
Brakes wont grip the rotor. Nothing moves.
Now, for whatever reason. I ran into a problem I've never
seen or thought possible. The rotor only spins when I push
the brake now. And when I let off the brake, the rotor stops.
It's doing the exact opposite of what it's supposed to be
doing. When I reinstall the master cylinder, I did not cross
the lines, in and out. I reinstalled to standard.
Wtf is going on? Also. My abs lights are on. I understand
that I might have to have a specialized expensive OBD2
sensor to clear it. Is the ABS system that much of a
headache that it's screwing up a true bleed on the brakes?
