Leak in gas line

I just bought a 2013 Honda Civic Coupe just over a month ago.  The other day when I got home I smelled gas.  I looked around the car and where the gas tank is there was a puddle  of gas on the ground.  It was towed back to the dealership and after looking at it and fixing it, they said there was a clean cut in the gas line above the gas tank.  Is this a known problem with this car?  The service dept is quite baffled as to how this would have happened.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I am a little leery about my car now.  Has anyone ever heard this, as I said enough to baffle the service dept.  Thank you

Check all the recalls. Honda Civic LX vehicles manufactured November 26, 2013, through .... Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL FEED LINE ASSEMBLY ...Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138
