How come only passenger side a/c has cold air and not driver side?

That condition usually is associated with a lower refrigerant level than required due to a small leak. It's time to have the AC system serviced.
Same problem, 2018 forester xt touring. Don't know but likely actuators or the whole system needs worked on. Refrigerant level is most likely fine but check both high and low side while on full blast on hot day and see if it reads correctly. I'm afraid paying to fix it will be putting good money into bad. I know a guy with newer Subaru who has been through two A/C systems. Similar problems. They were forced to replace whole unit. Unfortunately no lemon law in Canada so he is definitely stuck with that no good problem car.
Thanks, Sadly the three Subaru dealerships I brought car to all refused to admit their was a problem and said oh it just takes awhile to cool down and when at idle it won't blow very cold in this heat. Horrible customer service. I even showed them this issue is very common accross many makes and year models. It's hard to believe but true. I will have it looked at but not by Subaru. They want 150 bucks just to look at it. What a joke. I already know they will try to sell me a new AC even if it's just actuator doors. Sorry I'm still very angry with Subaru and thier motors finance with chase. Worst choices for a car purchase I've ever made on both accounts. Perhaps a recall will come.
I have gone to other mechanics and the dealerships refused to allow any outside diagnosis into records or even bother reading them. I'm serious. I've got no reason to lie. I've purchased 4 Subaru vehicles new in my lifetime. I was a big Subaru fan until this lemon situation. Also the dealership I use to love, who treated me well was purchased by another company and went bad and dishonest. Now they own all 3 dealerships in Houston. Last time I went to complain and request service the head manager came out holding a baseball bat smacking it in his hand with a grin. Obviously to intimidate me, right? I don't care to return. Can you blame me?
Oh? Okay, I had no idea anybody would even care in a legal fashion after the lemon lawsuit didn't go in my favor. I did report the baseball guy to subaru of America. He was very angry and called from personal phone cursing me out.. They basically never spoke to me again at subaru of America. The case worker made herself unavailable and never returned calls. I basically gave up after months of trying to resolve it with them. Her secretary would just say she's unavailable and will call you. Never did. Thanks, I will look into the things you mentioned..
Yes, Lexus is fantastic in my experience. I don't have experience with Acura.. Zero major problems on a gas Lexus vehicle with around 375k miles. It's probably approaching its end however. Definitely engine is wearing out.. I feel it did its job though. No complaints on Lexus.
I had always owned Subaru up north in Montana for great traction in mountain snow. The lexus was a summer car v8 rear wheel drive hard top convertible. Not really for winter you know..
Also Lexus is very expensive. I wanted the RX 350 Sport awd but price was steep.
