Passenger side airbag

Asked by Snickelfritz99 Mar 15, 2017 at 01:47 PM about the 2007 Subaru Forester

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought a used 2007 Forester and  there is a light saying that the
passenger side airbag is turned off, how do I turn it back on? Do I have to
take it to a dealer?

Read the owners manual. There may be a switch or the car may turn the bag off when no one is sitting in the passenger seat.

1. Have someone sit in the seat. 2. No...unless you can't ind someone else to sit in the seat. Actually, a dead weight will work too.
