Purchasing an Audi

Audi is a german company and i think are part of volkswagen, I would say they are highly dependable vehicles. Luxury for sure. 53,000 is not too many miles.
If you take into account the 10,000 miles per year rule, or even if you extend it to 12,000 miles per year, the car is a bit over. However, if the car has been well maintained and not abused, I would not worry much about the mileage if the price is right. Check for the private and dealer price for this car with the actual mileage. Ask questions and be sure that, if there is a warranty, it is in writing before you signs any documents and money change hands. Audi, or any other make, can last long if they are well serviced and repaired as soon as something goes bad.
Ok. I'm purchasing the car from Carmax and it was a rental vehicle. Is that bad? Thank you so much for taking time to answer my questions.
With rare exceptions Carmax vehicles come from a rental or lease fleet. Good, bad, who knows? Be sure to ask ALL your questions before you commit in writing and review the warranty terms carefully. My late father always said that the only people he never trusted were drunks and car salesmen. You may want to add others.

i have a 2007 with 126k miles and still flies around a 2016 with 53 k is excessive but i would ask for all repair and maintenance logs prior to purchase. if they cannot provide ask to have the car inspected at a 3rd party shop or dealer. think of it this way paying 130dollars to a shop for a pre purchase inspection or buy the car 3 months later 900dollar repair bill. take it to a shop on your test drive ask them to plug in the tech reader and look at the live feeds and DTCs some sales places will delete DTCs removing the check engine light. now a DTC or Diagnostic trouble code isnt set typically until the failure is detected over the period of 3 engine starts, or lasts more than 20 min. so live dtc review will shot current yet not stored data .
Wow!!!! Ok...I had no idea. I will do all of the above!! THANK YOU!!!!!
