My 2016 Sonata
suddenly accelerates on
me. Very dangerous.
Dealer and hyundai are
trying string me along.
Where do I go for help.

I have something similar but I call it a surge. sometimes I don't think that i'm going to be able to stop the car. so far I have always been able to.

In dealing with hyundai usa. You need to report it. I heard it's a common and dangerous problem. Try to message them on Twitter. They for back to me with a case manger. Thank god our car hit a tree instead of a kid.

I had this happen in my 2018 Kona which I have owned for 1 month. Was in a parking lot looking for a space, nudged a curb and the steering wheel locked then vehicle accelerated at a rapid pace despite my tryiing to stop the car. My car ran straight into a parked car with extensive damage. Thank God noone was standing behind the car I hit b/c they would be dead. I have never been so scared.
