Cannot seem to remove fuse box cover

Asked by Michael Oct 31, 2024 at 01:41 PM about the 2017 Chevrolet Express

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi there - I am asking for any tips or tricks in removing the fuse box cover on
a Chevy 2017 City Express van.  This is the fuse box located in the engine
compartment.  I was able to find two clips to press on and the lid does
loosen a bit but it's not coming off and I am concerned about forcing it too
much.  I've included a picture below which shows the clips I was able to find.
What am I missing here?  Thanks so much in advance!  -- Michael
