The digital display on my 2016 forester has also disappeared - not for first time. Read the manual & searched the net - absolutely as clear as mud. I did stumble on the remedy once, but Subaru honestly need a huge kick up the backside for having speedo display that is so easily deactivated & so difficult to reinstate. My Forester’s clock also gains about 6 minutes a year. It’s also almost impossible to alter to correct time. My $9,000 insulin pump also gains about 6 minutes a year, but at least that can be swiftly changed to correct time. Completely inexcusable to have such cheap/inaccurate time pieces in relatively expensive acquisitions!

Use the up or down arrow beside the i/set switch on the left side of the steering wheel. It will scroll they all the available info that is available in that box. The car has to be running to do this.

Bottom left of steering wheel. Pull the down arrow toward you 2 times. Done.

I did what Gordon suggested and it worked great--on my 2017 Limited. On the 2016 Limited we bought yesterday? Not so much.... I imagine there is another step, or something. I'll keep trying and let you know if I am able to conquer this. If only there were a four yer old around to help me....

I have this issue in my Subaru Crosstrek 2015. Even trying the previously explained, nothing happens :( Any Idea about what's going on?
