What is the Tapping noise on passenger side as if it's coming from glovebox

what is causing the tapping noise on passenger side, like it's coming from from
the glovebox?

On a Dodge Journey that is where the servo for the fresh air/ recirculating door is located. I had a customer that came in for a noise on that side and found the housing was cracked and would make a sound when it was activated. Customer said it cost too much to replace so they just lived with it.
