what is the driving cycle on a 2002 Lincoln town
car to reset the OBD 2 MONITORS

It is one cycle, where engine temp reaches normal operating temp then cools. BUT if i'm not mistaken, some codes will only clear when certain monitor or test conditions occur, which may not occur under normal driving. http://www.obd-codes.com has that sort of information. You can also clear codes with some types of OBD scan tools. Harbor Freight or Amazon has them the cheapest, just be sure if you do decide to buy when it can in fact clear codes too.

Forget it (the driving cycle) sounds like emissions inspection talk! Clear the codes. IF, it didn't pass(not ready) you need to do service.
