VW Jetta and reprogramming keys
I just changed the batteries in my two VW Jetta keys (2017) and I think I need
to reprogram them so they work. Can I do that on my own? I have a keyless
ignition.
You shouldn't have to reprogram them just replacing the battery. If they do not for some reason, fold the key outward and press the unlock button on the fob, then process to unlock the drive door with the manual key and open the door. Then close the door. The fobs should be ready to use normally.
