Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to replace the plug on my block heater but its -20 outside and i want to
do it inside my home. i see that the cord is plugged in under the hood, I can
disconnect that and take the end of the cord inside? i tried but its really hard to
get off so im thinking maybe im not supposed to unplug it?

If just the end is bad you can cut it off and replace it. Hardware stores have replacement ends.
