start up issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After long drive when battery is full, I parked the new car for a week without
driving and then I come back and could not start the car.... had to find
someone and start w cables. this issue is repeating often - my wife have
daily drive to work of about 10min and the same issue still happening. I had
external car camera that I have disconnect assumed it was taking too much
energy... but it did not help. what is your recommendation

parasitic draw test , do a search it'll come up , what about a warranty ?

I just bought a brand new 2020 Rav4 Hybrid and in the second week of owning it, I let it sit for 2 days undriven and I was shocked when I went to drive it and the battery was dead. I had to call roadside assistance for a jump and then drove it to the dealer. Turns out this is a known issue with the 12v battery and there is a software update available for it. If you own a 2019-2020 Rav4 Hybrid, take it to the dealer ASAP or you might end up very late for work like I was.
