Changed the starter on my car, reconnected the battery and tried to start it but it won't. Anti-theft light flashes but it wont even try to start. Any ideas?

When you disconnected the battery, the anti-theft kicked on and disabled the ignition. Check your owners manual on how to reset.

Any time you unhook the power, it will trigger the anti-theft if you have it. Do you see a flashing light on the dash?
