Buyback on Infiniti Qx30

Asked by Angela May 04, 2020 at 01:23 AM about the 2019 INFINITI QX30

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I’m about to buy an Infiniti 2019 Qx30 with
12800 miles awd w/ navigate package .  It
was a buyback.  The repairs were done and
still has up to 3 years of warranty left.  The
cost is 21,000.  Please let me know what you
think.  I called Nissan service and they said
the repair was because of emergency brakes
Slip light came on and vehicle not
accelerating.  Looks like I’ll be saving 3500 on
this vehicle. What do you think?

On the CarFax report it says Emergency brake inoperable Slip light came on and vehicle not accelerating. I called the manufacturer and they told me about the same. There is still almost 3 year warranty on it and an extended warranty on the incident. Need advice.

Thanks for your response. Yes, there was a fix figured out. The car was fixed and the Nissan gave it an extended warranty. I have checked out the Infiniti Qx30 website and others have had similar problems with the acceleration but no real buybacks. Infiniti seem to have fixed there problems eventually but this was just a few cases that this happened with. I will take your advice and continue to look. Thanks again. I like this model of vehicle from Infiniti.

Maintenance is costly, the majority of the parts are Mercedes. Mine is a 2017 with 25,000 miles. I just had a few thousand worth of work done on mine due to AWD sensor. Nissan wouldn't touch it because they said all warranty work had to be done at Infiniti. Thank God the warranty was still good.
