Thanks for the news I was kind of firgue that the valves would be bent my wife was driving the car she was going into forth gear she drives Lima old lady so hopefully not to much damage if it was your car would you replace the damaged ones or go ahead and replace the head/rebuild or should I replace the whole engine/rebuild it since I'll have it torn down always?
It is really sad that many people put off timing belt service and then have to replace an engine due to this lack of maintenance. Not specifically talking about the original poster here. Good luck with it.
What if you weren't driving the car at all? Mine was fine that night. Parked it and didn't have to work til 6pm the next day. Went to go leave and it started but immediately died. Had my friend come look at it and it's the timing belt. I had no check engine light or anything.

But I wasn’t going not even 10mph ? Could it have skipped a tooth as it did misfire and lost power
