HOW TO DISCONNECT ALARM.

Asked by SHESHE Jun 18, 2007 at 02:01 PM about the 1992 Nissan Maxima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

MY 92 NISSAN MAXIMA'S ALARM HAS GONE OF A FEW TIMES. AND IT IS ANNOYING LISTENING TO THE HORN BEEPING, WHICH SEEMS LIKE ETERNITY. IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO DISCONNECT IT? OR SHOULD I JUST TRY AND DISCONNECT THE HORN?

THANKS,
JOHN

WHY ARE WE YELLING!! I wouldn't disconnect the horn. As for disabling the alarm you would have to take it to the dealer or a mechanic to get the alarm removed.
