locking doors while car camping

I have a 2021 Forester Sport I'm going to be camping in. How can I lock the
doors at night while I'm sleeping in it? I'm assuming that having the key fob in
the car with me will keep the doors unlocked.. any way to get around this?

Did you get an owners manual when you bought the car? It may tell you in there if you have one.
Huh? For security reasons one's been able to lock ALL doors while in a vehicle for decades. Just get in the car and push the master driver's door lock button.
I have never had a car I could not lock while I was inside including my Foresters.

I've never had a keyless entry car and I noticed that when I get out and press the lock button it automatically unlocks the door again.. I thought this was bc i left the key fob inside (was just going to unlock with my phone), but now i'm thinking it was bc the car was running that it wouldn't let me lock it with the fob in.. sorry for my confusion.
